How much space is needed to host a locker?
It depends on the configuration, but the deciding constraints are not the cabinet footprint: they are door widths and installation access, a dedicated power outlet, and clearance in front of the unit so someone with a cart or stroller can open a compartment. We assess the location with you before any install.
Does hosting a locker require daily work?
No. You provide the space, power and access; operation, notifications, customer support and maintenance are on our side. Your staff never handle parcels or manage codes.
Which locations work best?
Ones that are reachable outside business hours and see people pass: shops with parking, residential buildings, campuses, workplaces, and regions where delivery attempts often fail. Conversely, a location that closes in the evening or is hard to reach by car gets little from a locker — we will say so plainly rather than install a cabinet nobody uses.
Does the locker accept all carriers?
Yes — that is the difference between an open network and the closed networks already present in Canada, which only accept one company's parcels. An open locker also serves returns and peer-to-peer handoffs, which multiplies the reasons someone comes to your location. That is exactly what MesColis is building.
What are the commercial terms?
They are discussed per location, because they depend on footfall, floor area and accessibility — publishing a single number here would be misleading.
